What is the Husqvarna 450X?

The Husqvarna Automower 450X is designed for large areas up to 5,000 m2. Thanks to the built-in lithium-ion battery, the robot mower can manage slopes in the working area of a maximum of ±45% or 24°. This allows the robot grass cutter to be used on uneven, steep as well as complex lawns.

The Husqvarna 450X model belongs to the X-Line series, characterised by high-quality equipment and a noble design. These X-Line Series features are:

When you are using the robot lawn mower, please be aware of (nighthawk ) animals and leave the Automower 450X in its charging station during the night. Because the robot operates very quietly (59 dB), it is very hard or even too late for animals to detect it.

How does the Husqvarna 450X work?

The grass is cut minimally each time it is used by the robot mower's sharp blades, which are mounted on a rotating mowing disc. These grass clippings fall as mulch onto the ground where it acts as a natural fertilizer. In this way, the soil not only receives nutrients, but is also supplied with moisture.

With the adjustable mowing cycles, the quality becomes visible every day. During a mowing cycle, the Automower 450X works for about 260 minutes. It then drives to its charging station, charges for about 75 minutes and then continues mowing.

Because the Husqvarna Automower 450X runs on electricity, it does not produce any harmful exhaust fumes. This means it is considered emission-free. When the robot lawn mower is in Eco mode, the 450X is particularly energy efficient.

Resistant to the weather

No matter whether the weather is fine, windy or rainy. The robot grass cutter can be used reliably in all weather conditions. This means that the Automower Husqvarna 450X works reliably even in the rain and consistently follows its mowing job.

GPS-supported navigation

Last but not least, the automatic passenger control and the remote start function make the robot mower the ideal solution for winding and complex lawns. Thanks to the GPS-assisted navigation, all areas are covered optimally and consistently.

Smart control thanks to Automower Connect Module

You can control the Husqvarna Automower 450X completely via your smartphone thanks to the Automower Connect Module. This allows you to control the robot grass cutter with appropriate commands, for example to start, stop or park. You can also check and change settings. In the event of theft, an alarm is sent with the Automower 450 X's position.

Secure mowing operation

The Husqvarna 450X is factory-equipped with obstacle detection, lift and tilt sensors. The robot grass cutter is also theft-proof and child-proof thanks to the PIN code and alarm function. This ensures safe and reliable mowing operation.

Robot mower has a weather timer

The Husqvarna Automower 450X adjusts the frequency of mowing according to the growth of the grass in the garden. The built-in weather timer allows the robot to recognise the prevailing weather. When the weather is dry and sunny, it reduces its trips and increases them when it rains, which promotes grass growth. This way, your lawn gets exactly the care it needs.

How to install and control the Husqvarna 450X?

The Husqvarna robot lawn mower can be controlled and programmed not only via the control panel, but also via a smartphone app. The built-in Automower Connect is responsible for this. In addition, the Automower can also be operated with voice commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Home. Its working area is defined with a boundary wire. This can either be buried or laid above ground with cable hooks.

Please note: The scope of delivery only includes the 450X, the charging station, the power cable and replacement blades. For the initial installation of the Husqvarna robot mower, a corresponding installation kit must also be ordered.

The remote start function

You can set up to five entry points for the Automower 450X using the remote start function. This enables the Husqvarna robot lawn mower to regularly find its way into remote, hard-to-reach parts of the garden to mow these areas. This gives a consistent finish to both the main areas and all the secondary areas.

Spiral mowing for higher grass zones

Areas that have higher grass are worked in a spiral motion by the Husqvarna 450X. As soon as these areas are mown, the robot mower automatically switches to automatic mode and continues mowing.
