What makes the Husqvarna 435X AWD stand out?

With this model, Husqvarna establishes new standards for working on steep terrain. Up to 70 % gradients can be mastered effortlessly by the Automower 435 X AWD. This robot mower is particularly suitable for complex and demanding gardens up to a maximum area of 3,500 m2. The all-wheel drive robot lawn mower gives each wheel optimum power transmission, providing the necessary grip when mowing on steep or slippery terrain.

When using the robot grass cutter, please be careful of (nocturnal) animals and keep the Automower 435X AWD in the charging station when it gets dark. Due to the fact that the robot operates very quietly (62 dB), animals can only detect it with great difficulty or even too late.

How does Automower 435X AWD mow the area?

Each time the robot lawn mower is in use, the grass gets minimally cut by three sharp rotating blades. These grass clippings fall to the ground as so-called mulch, where it decomposes and acts as a natural fertilizer. In this way, the soil not only receives nutrients, but is also supplied with moisture.

The adjustable mowing cycles make the quality visible every day. On average, Automower 435 X AWD works for about 100 minutes during a mowing cycle. It then drives to its charging station, charges and then continues mowing again.

Husqvarna's Automower 435X AWD is powered by electricity and therefore does not produce harmful exhaust fumes. Therefore, the mower is considered emission-free. If the robot mower is in Eco mode, the 435X AWD is particularly energy efficient.

Offroad - Robot grass cutter

This model from Husqvarna is equipped with a standard 4-wheel drive. With this, the Automower 435 X AWD is able to mow slopes that were impossible until now. Thanks to good traction and technical expertise, it can master gradients of up to 70 % with ease.

The 435X AWD looks like an ant. However, the robot itself consists of two units that are coupled to each other via an articulated joint system. These offer a maximum of manoeuvrability and at the same time stability on steep slopes.

Mows on voice command from Amazon and Google

The Husqvarna Automower 435X AWD is equipped with an open API interface. This enables the integration of the robot lawn mower into a smart home as well as the connection with voice services via Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

Automower Connect also comes as standard

With the Automower Connect module, the Husqvarna Automower 435X AWD can be operated via an app using a smartphone. For example, the functions start or stop, parking commands and also checking settings are available. In the unlikely event that the robot mower disappears from the garden at home, a notification is automatically sent to the smartphone. The app is available as a free download for iOS and Android.

The technical features of the Automower 435 X AWD include lift and tilt sensors as well as ultrasonic sensors for obstacle detection. Thanks to the ultrasonic sensors, the robot lawn mower reacts early to obstacles and brakes accordingly. The integrated PIN code and alarm function provide protection against theft and start-up by children or unauthorised persons.

The integrated weather timer ensures that the robot grass cutter mows according to the growth of the grass. This means that it increases its mowing time during heavy growth and reduces it during dry, sunny weather.

How can the Husqvarna 435X AWD be installed and controlled?

Communication between the robot mower and your smartphone is constant via the factory-installed Automower Connect module. An advanced anti-theft system is also included. The Connect module gives you full control of the robot at all times and from anywhere. Settings can be made, status can be checked, alarms can be received and commands can be sent. In addition, the Automower 435 X AWD also has the ability to listen to voice commands from Google Home or Amazon Alexa. It can be set up with just a few app settings. After that, just say" Alexa, tell Automower to mow." or "OK Google, ask Automower about its status." An overview of Husqvarna's voice commands are available here.

In order to use the Husqvarna Automower 435X AWD, a boundary wire must first be laid along the working area, i.e. the edge of the plot. This can either be buried a few cm deep or laid above ground with cable hooks.

Please note: Only the robot lawn mower, the charging station, the power cable and spare blades are included in the delivery. For the initial installation you will need a boundary wire and other materials. This is offered as an optional installation kit. We recommend ordering this at the same time if required.

Adjustable cutting height

The cutting height of the Husqvarna 435X AWD can be electrically adjusted. This adjustment is possible either directly on the top of the robot grass cutter or via the app.

Even narrow corridors are mastered with ease

Even narrow corridors are reliably and independently recognised by the Husqvarna 435 X AWD. In this way, the robot mower adapts its behaviour to the narrow passages in which it is working. The Automower 435 X AWD also independently prevents ruts when crossing the corridors.
